Two ways to use Scan Explained.

Both formats are 1-on-1 with a radiologist and built around the report you already have. The Report + Images format adds a guided walkthrough of the anatomy your scan shows when image access is available.

Quick answers

A few things first.

Do I need images to use the service?

No. Report-Only is built for cases where the final report is available even if image access isn't. Both formats are 1-on-1 with a radiologist.

Can someone join me?

Yes. A caregiver or support person can join with prior authorization, set up before the session.

Is this a second opinion?

No. Both formats are educational and report-first — not a new interpretation of the scan, a diagnosis, or a treatment recommendation.

Scope of the service

What this is — and what it isn't.

What this is

A radiologist walks you through the wording of your existing report in plain language and, when image access is available, orients you to the anatomy the report describes.

What this isn't

A second opinion, a new interpretation of the scan, a diagnosis, a treatment recommendation, or urgent or emergency guidance. Your treating clinicians remain responsible for diagnosis and care.

If you need urgent help, contact your treating clinician or local emergency services.
