About
Meet the radiologist behind every session.
I'm Alex Pankratov, MD. I built this service because I kept seeing patients walk out of imaging centers holding a report they couldn't read. I review every case personally and lead every walkthrough.

Why this exists
Radiology reports are written for clinical communication. They're efficient, precise, and useful to other clinicians — but not always easy for patients to absorb on their own. People can usually access their report; they often can't fully read it.
I've been drawn to the teaching side of radiology for as long as I've been doing it. A short, careful walkthrough of a report — what the words mean, what's being described, what to ask your doctor — fills a gap that nothing else in the system fills.
Background in radiology
My training has centered on looking at imaging studies carefully, describing what I see clearly, and explaining findings to people who didn't go to medical school.
This service is one person doing that work outside the constraints of a clinical visit — no team, no AI behind the curtain, no panel of specialists. Just me, your report, and the time to walk through it together.
How I think about this work
The session is education, not medical care. The boundary isn't fine print — it's how I structured the whole thing, so a clear explanation can sit alongside your treating clinicians without trying to replace them.
Each operational detail is built that way on purpose. I personally review every case before payment. Sessions run with a defined time so they stay focused on explanation. Uploaded materials are deleted within 14 days of your session. These aren't add-on policies; they're what keeps the service what it claims to be.
What I won't do
- I won't act as your treating physician through this service.
- I won't issue a diagnosis, a treatment recommendation, or a second opinion on your scan.
- If you need urgent guidance, please contact your treating clinician or local emergency services.
Educational only — not a diagnosis, second opinion, or substitute for medical care.
